Hospitality Assured at Inverness Airport
"People are at the heart of our business. At our airport we promise friendly and professional service in a calm and safe environment." (Inverness Airport's Customer Service Promise)
Inverness Airport was the first air terminal in the UK to achieve one of the hospitality industry’s top standards.
In 2002, after 18 months of prepaparatory work, the airport achieved Hospitality Assured accreditation – the international benchmark that recognises high standards of customer service in the hospitality industry.
Hospitality Assured has been developed by the Hotel and Catering International Management Association (HCIMA) and is being promoted in the UK in partnership with the British Hospitality Association. The airport was among the first group of businesses in the Highlands to achieve accreditation as part of a Local Enterprise Company pilot scheme.
The airport terminal was reaccredited in 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007. Inverness is currently seeking the award for the seventh year running.
