Around 300 participants ran, jogged and walked Inverness Airport's runway in aid of Maggie's Highlands cancer support charity. Raising a huge £93,460.
Inverness Airport general manager, Graeme Bell, has been wowed by the final figure: “What an amazing achievement for Maggie’s Highlands. A huge well done to all the fundraisers for their donation efforts and for the runway dash on the night itself. It has been wonderful to support the Run the Runway events at Inverness Airport and we look forward to supporting the charity again in the future.”
