Potential new aircraft trial takes place at HIAL airports.
Benbecula and Stornoway airports hosted the demonstration of a potential new aircraft for the Benbecula to Stornoway route last week as part of a trial by Hebridean Air Services and Comhairle nan Eilean Siar.
Local passenger groups, councillors, representatives from the NHS and the local community had the opportunity to look around the Technam P2012 Traveller aircraft, which visited Benbecula and Stornoway. The trial of the aircraft also involved an assessment landing in Barra.
