
Highlands & Islands Airports Ltd (HIAL) has launched a customer feedback survey as it seeks to identify improvements across its 11 airports.
The online survey, aims to help HIAL understand how people use the airports and to identify where improvements can be made to the services and facilities currently provided.
The survey will include information on the following areas:

Demographics for the people who use HIAL airports such as the areas where they live and their age group

Flying habits and preferences – including how often they use the airport and which flights they use

The current customer experience of the services and facilities provided at the airports and if there are any they would like to be introduced

How people travel to and from the airport and why particular modes of transport are selected
HIAL airports are located at Barra, Benbecula, Campbeltown, Dundee, Inverness, Islay, Kirkwall, Sumburgh, Stornoway, Tiree and Wick John O’Groats and the survey will run across each location for one month. The survey will then be repeated later in the year to provide comparable data on the quieter and busier times at the airports.
Paper versions of the survey will be made available at each airport for any customer who does not have internet access or wishes to complete a hard copy. More information about the survey is available on the Q&A document on the HIAL website.
Darren MacLeod, Chief Operating Officer at HIAL, said: “The customer survey is a great opportunity for anyone using our airports to provide us with a better understanding of their experience at our airports.
“The information we will collect will help us to plan the services and facilities we deliver, including any improvements identified, and I would encourage anyone who uses HIAL airports to participate.”
